Big Tree down at Bowers Springs

A huge white pine fell across the path between the Upper and Lower Ponds at Bowers Springs. It was an inconvenience to all that passed, but many dogs enjoyed leaping over it.
On Wednesday October 23, Gordon Taylor and Larry Kunz cleared the path by cutting the tree up and rolling the logs to the side of the path.
Some hikers have used the logs as a bench!
