Trail Work at Wilder Farm

Thank you to the Scouts and adult leaders from Troop 1 in Bolton for helping to maintain the trails at Wilder Farm. The trail was almost impassable due to the large amount of growth from the summer. The Scouts persisted with their loppers and pruning shears going from Goose Pond Path all the way to the parking area at Main Street. The trail is completely clear of vines, weeds, and downed trees and should make a great fall hike for those visiting the area. This work prepares the foundation for future wood chip mulching near the Goose Pond Path trail head to help curb some of the persistent growth.
