Wilder Farm Property Trail Work
April 19, 2021
Boy Scouts from Bolton’s Troop 1 spent time at the Wilder Farm property on Sunday clearing trails of significant blowdowns and brush. This property sees overgrowth with thorn bushes and brush which make some trails nearly impassable during the warmer months. The boys, along with several parents, made this small network of trails more accessible for all.
Clearing the main path down from Route 117.
The path down to the old culvert is now passable.
Very old hidden culvert which curves under the current path.
Path along the old railroad bed.
Trail is now clearly defined.
Significant blowdowns in this area had caused people to change the course of the trail. The path now takes its original course at the southwestern end of the loop.
