Hazel Trail Complete

You may have read that Bolton Conservation Trust recently bought an area of land adjacent to its existing property at Northwoods (Https://boltontrails.org/map5). You might also have noticed a small triangular area of conservation land off Warner Road. This is actually called the Smith property. The newly purchased area, called the Hazel property, fits between this land and the Northwoods area. Drew Schaubhut from the Trust board built a new trail to connect the two. Gordon Taylor updated the online maps, updated the trailhead maps, and made direction signs. On August 24 2025 Chris Demers joined Drew and Gordon to install the new signs, maps and mark the route with arrows on trees.

New trailhead maps were also installed at access points to the Zink-Northwoods area.
