Derby Field and Horse Ring Trail is now clear

An enormous tree had fallen at the southern end of the trail from the Lacrosse Field to Berlin Road. Trail users were forced to bushwhack close to private land as they climbed up from the bridge over a brook. The main trunk had landed adjacent to the path, but many limbs and branches made the route impossible to follow. Chris Demers and Gordon Taylor tackled the problem with loppers and electric tools.
