Progress on new trails at The Oaks

On Saturday 5 June 2022, Winslow Green and Gordon Taylor continued work on The Oaks Circuit paths near Ballville Road across from the International Golf Club property. Winslow and Gordon cleared most of the major obstructions on the section that parallels North Brook. This trail network is on Town Conservation land and will link to the rarely used Bolton Conservation Trust easement adjacent to The Oak Trail housing development. Work on this whole network has been progressing intermittently since the Spring of 2021 when much of the Trust Easement was cleared and new arrows installed. Routes for the most of the new paths were marked in the Summer and Fall of 2021.
